Two jobs, one habit: take something complicated apart until it works.
By day I am a Software Developer, working across every stage of a product: the early decisions and conversations with clients, the data model, the development itself, and everything that comes after it goes live: deployment, monitoring, maintenance. That is where I learned that maintainable is not a style; it is a consequence.
The rest of the time I am a PhD candidate at ETTI, POLITEHNICA Bucharest, working on AI techniques for geospatial data analysis, and a teaching assistant in the same faculty I graduated from.

My PhD is on AI techniques for geospatial data analysis: how models are trained on satellite and radar imagery, and how their output becomes something a person can act on.
Geospatial data is large, unevenly sampled, and changes meaning with scale, which makes it a demanding test for any learning model. My PhD is about the models themselves: how they are trained on satellite and radar imagery, how far they can be compressed, and whether what they produce is something a person can act on.
